What is the Lighting for Tomorrow Award?

lighting for tomorrowThe Lighting for Tomorrow Award is presented to recognize the best design, style and energy efficient lighting fixtures in the industry.  The Lighting for Tomorrow Award began in 2002 showing the beginning of the energy efficient Energy Star Rated lighting fixture trend.  This award helps support the awareness of the necessity to reduce energy consumption in our lighting industry. 

What are the Requirements of a Lighting for Tomorrow Winner?

 
To win the Lighting for Tomorrow the light fixture and or light fixture family must meet a hand full of quality requirements.
  • Must meet the requirements of the Energy Star Residential Light Fixture Program
  • Lamp can not be replaced by an incandescent bulb
  • Must be beautifully designed
  • Represent style with class
  • It helps to be a part of a family so that the same series can be used through out the home
